Does anyone know if it is possible to get La Gloria Cubana cigars in the UK (aside from the Deliciosos and the Gloriosos)? I brought a Wavell Maduro back with me from Vegas and found it to be one of the best i have ever smoked. The only two i have found here start from ?20.

[QUOTE=Nightwingvyse;152034]Well they all have La Gloria Cubana on the band. Apart from that, it really makes no difference to me. It doesn't really answer my question.
Would anyone like to correct any spelling mistakes i may have made?[/QUOTEi

I have no intention of causing arguments. I'm just not a perfect ambassador of online etiquette. I am a member of many various forums and hold a positive reputation in each one. It was just an amusing thing to write.
My question still stands though. I would love to know if they are available in the UK. I should have brought a whole bunch of those things back with me, but i wasn't as experienced a smoker as i am now (though this thread would suggest that that's not saying much).

That the band on the NC's are the same, and a rip-off is unfortunate, and will have to be resolved at some point in the future. What is not beyond dispute however is that a Cuban LGC is greatly superior in tobacco quality than an NC version. If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

When the revolution occured, Cuban brand owners and manufacturers were dispossessed of their factories and their stocks. They all left the country. They opened factories in the DR, Nic, Honduras, etc. and obtained the legal copyright to the brands in the United States market, but not in Europe. But their cigars share nothing with their cuban homonyms…
The copyright issue has been explained and discussed so many time on so many forums, I'm sure you can find a link to a comprehensive explanation…
There are dominican Montecristo,Partagas, Upmann, Ramon Allones, honduran Punch and Hoyo de Monterrey and Sancho Panza, nicaraguan San Cristobal, etc etc; it's going to be a mess when the embargo is left…Last edited by Smallclub; 13-09-2011, 09:53 AM.
