    Hey guys.

i am thinking of treating myself. i have only been smoking cigars a month max and i was thinking of buying this for myself

    what you think?

Not bad, some goodcigars there and some average ones, personally for ?130 I think you could get a number of top quality singles, my advice as your kind of starting out would be to try a lot of different singles or samplers to see what you like before splashing out on boxes or anything like that.

Yeah not bad, it depends what you are after, there is probably maybe ?50 worth of cigars. If you are looking for an introduction to cigars they probably aren't the best examples, but if you are looking for a humidor with some extras it probably isn't that bad at all. There are quite a few things that are taking up potential cigar money, ?12 worth of coffee, ?12 of the minis etc. The humidor is the ?60 basics model so if you are not too bothered about the extras you could probably make your own package up.

Eg for ?5 more you can get the 50 capacity humidor (all their humidors come with accessories included) as opposed to the 20 capacity one in that package

and you now have ?70 to play with for singles. From my begginers experience, looking back I would personally get:

-Bolivar Coronas Junior ?7.29 -Coffee and leather
-Cohiba Siglo 2 ?12.50 - Sweet, herbs, dried apricot
-Quintero Panatelas ?5.99 - Spice, ceder
-Punch Petit Coronas ?8.29 - Sweet, almost like rum and raisins
      -Montecristo #3 ?11.69 - Creamy, milk chocolate, dried raisins/citrus
-H.Upmann Mag 46 ?14.99 - Creamy Milk Choc and leather
-Partagas Short ?7.49 - Spice and toast
-Por Larranaga Petit Corona ?7.99 - Sweet, caramel
      =?76.23

      Total = ?141.23

Personally I would go for something like that unless you want the whiskey and coffee and cigarettes etc.

If you're new to cigars, I'm not sure it is worthwhile buying some of the more expensive ones until you have a little more experience to judge the differences on.
Not a criticism at all (good list!), but I'd take out anything over a tenner. This would be my list:

Jose L Piedra Petit Cazadores ?3.69 (great pub cigar IMO; rich taste for the cash; better construction that Quintero)
Punch Petit Punch ?6.69 (cheaper than the PC and just lovely. Discontinued so worth trying before they disappear)
Bolivar Coronas Junior ?7.29 (I love Bolivar)
Partagas Shorts ?7.49 (Loads of people love these so I included them)
Por Larranaga Petit Coronas ?7.99 (variable IME, but a good one tastes like Milky Bar to me!)
El Rey del Mundo Petit Coronas ?7.99 (a few fans round here)
Ramon Allones Small Club Corona ?7.29 (great intro to RA and a little powerhouse)
Montecristo No. 5 ?6.99 (or the No.4; both good)
Trinidad Reyes ?7.99 (does anyone on this forum NOT love these?)
San Cristobal El Principe ?7.49 (something a bit different IMO)

          Total ?70.90

If you fancy one more add a Hoyo Petit Robusto at ?9.99 or a Le Hoyo du Depute at ?7.49 - different styles within the Hoyo range but the two best IMO.

a lot of people say start light and work up... so that'd be the ERDM maybe?? Possibly keep the NC for after a few CCs so you get more of an idea of possible differences, but they all look good so maybe just throw a dart (not literally) and see!

I think Mitch (smokeymo) has better ways of driving business to his site then by making fictitious accounts and trolling. ie: having cracking deals for forum members through the commercial section of this forum and being the best priced and actually caring about the customers.
