Greatest cigar you've ever smoked?

Good evening all,

I'm making this thread just to see which members have what particular favourites. I feel I should ask the question "what is the greatest cigar you've ever smoked?" It doesn't have to be Cuban but it must be that one cigar that you remember the most for being utterly fantastic and unique.

Brand, type and year of the cigar would be great, additional info such as single, 3 pack or box 25's etc would be great and also consistency of the cigars if they were in a bulk buy!

I've got quite a few stand out 'moments' but the one cigar that always delivers for me is the Cohiba Corona Especiale, the last one in particular I'd aged for about six years (the last of an original CC purchase that I made). To say it had developed and matured would not give it enough credit, creamy, smooth, wonderful coffee bean flavour and perfect burn all the way.

Now I'm depressed as I realise my humi lacks any of these

It was a Monte No. 2 over ten years ago now and it really did blow me away. Never had one like it since. I remember looking at it while I was smoking and thinking that there must be something in this thats not quite legal. Amazing.

Haha! I'm yet to try a "proper" Monte, I really should get a few sticks.

The first and best cigar [so far] was a 'saint luis rey' double corona.
A friend had a massive box of probably 50 and it was basically the reason I started smoking cigars!!
It was awesome! Nice thick coffee taste with a rich earthy note and I think a very subtle floral undertone towards the end [this was about a year ago].
Yummy.

Either:
My first Bolivar Royal Corona bought as a single from Gimeno in Barcelona. Smoked after a beautiful paella. Just the most spectacularly rich experience. I fell in love with Bolivar from then on.
or
A Partagas Serie P No. 2 with a Bombay and Schweppes Tonic. First time I understood complexity in a cigar.

THis small but perfect stick was sublime from first puff to the last. I bid for some that came up at Mitch's auction but was out bid. Note to self, must stop mentioning how great these are, it only encourages others to bid against me in future!

Wow, a 70's Monte 5, I bet that was a treat! Im definitely going to have to keep my eyes open for some of the 70s Montes for when they turn up. Next time they do, Im certainly going to have to attempt to get my hands on at least on or two and give them a test drive!
