What's the relation ?other than the size? between the 2003 RyJ robusto EL and the Short churchill released in 2006? Between the 2004 Epic Esp EL and the 2008 Epic Esp?
Have you smoked these 2 ELs?
You are saying that HSA tested the market with special, expensive cigars rolled with specifically aged leaves? That just doesn't make sense?
The Partagas D3 from 2001 was successful, did it led to the release of a regular Partagas corona gorda? No, but they released an other D3 EL in 2006?
As for the D5, it would have been created even if the D5 EL had never existed, since clearly HSA wants a regular short robusto in each marca?

I bow to your superior superiority apart from the fact that you're wrong...plus the RyJ robusto was from 2001

                    Trinidad Robusto T going? Crazy!

LGC Tainos going? You might as well say goodbye to the Brand then, because other than ELs there's nothing left. Vaquero too are for the shove by the look.

Hats off to Jose Antonio Candia. A man of principle seemingly. If only some of our politicians were like him.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

I guess the only a small percentage of us buy Cab's of 50 so these will be prime for deletion, obviously the few C.A. amongst the Havana buying clientel don't need to be panadered too by taking their considerations into account. I have ERDMCS & RASS x 2 each of 50's but for some reason I always been happy with 25cabs of Hoyo No 2.
Points no one else has raised so far: Fonseca No 1, surely no great loss, I would imagine the rest of that brand will be reduced too.
ERDM PC & R&J Petit Princess/Prince, as mentioned else where on this site, smaller vitolas have an increasing appeal due to the smoking ban, why they chose to delete these I can't imagine. I love the ERDM brand but would say IMHO the PC is their weakest vitola & doesn't compare well to other cuban PC's. Still I know there are fans, better grab another box or two, Simon
As for the VR Classio & Familiar, would never have happened if the Don was still alive The Classico is another Lonsdale to bite the dust & the Familiar is a great cigar in it's own right. Never brought a box of either, usually a few singles at a time but I might be tempted to lay down a box.

Got two boxes of those LGC Tanios, and they're great.

Only other thing, agreeing with everyone else, is the 12 packs of Trinis going, can't understand that.

Say what you want and stay in the kindergarten, you're the one that writes statements about cigars that you obviously never smoked…
